Salmon river
Laxa in Nesjum
River Laxa in Nesjum is located near by the village Höfn on the southeast coast
and fished with two rods at a time.
A smolt-releasing program has been in place for several
years now, and is meant to enhance the run of wild salmon
and bring the overall river stock to more abundance. The
program is working well and gives high hopes for the 2009
season. There is also the
usual substantial run of sea-trout at the end of the season.
The two permits are sold together, including private self
catering lodge located near by the river.
